In America, the short tail of the Japanese cat was thought to be cute, and the Japanese was slowly improved overseas into the slim-legged cat we know today. They have the kindest and calmest personality out of all cats, and sometimes even seem a little shy. However, once they accept someone as a social partner, they will always sit and listen, and even appear to saying “Oh I see”.
